Savudrija is a small coastal settlement and popular tourist resort near Umag and part of Istria County. Savudrija is also name of whole surrounding area and is the westernmost point of Croatia.
Savudrija has developed from a fishing village into a nice vacation centre. It is modern tourist area surrounded by Mediterranean vegetation which is offering special atmosphere for a pleasant stay during the whole year.

The main sight is a 36 m high lighthouse built in 1818 and is the oldest one on the Adriatic coast. It is also first lighthouse in Europe illuminated with gas. The lighthouse is situated in the middle of a tourist area, surrounded by hotels, restaurants and beaches. The lighthouse also offers apartment accommodation.
Savudrija is popular with windsurfers, as three kinds of wind meet there it makes very attractive for wind surfing. Among attractions is also worth to mention rich gastronomic offer and interesting bike trails passing by numerous historical remnants.
